When it comes to foot health, Daniel Hennessy, DPM, has one goal at Denville Foot & Ankle — provide a one-stop shop for every podiatric need. To deliver the best care possible to patients in Denville, New Jersey, Dr. Hennessy has undergone rigorous training and education to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Orthopedics . Dr. Hennessy also has an additional certification in foot and ankle arthroscopy.

Dr. Hennessy began his education at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Hennessy went on to obtain his doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, where allopathic and podiatric candidates work together as they pursue their degrees.

Dr. Hennessy completed his residency at Atlantic Health System, which encompasses three major medical centers, including the Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. He was also selected to serve as chief resident during his training and was responsible for managing junior residents, lecturing on various educational topics, and moderating surgical skills labs.

To help educate students coming up through medical training, Dr. Hennessy still maintains an educational appointment at Morristown Medical Center. He was recently promoted and accepted the position of Associate Program Director of the Podiatric Surgery and Medicine Residency at Atlantic Health System. Additionally, Dr. Hennessy serves as the Vice Chairman for the Department of Podiatry at Morristown Medical Center.

Dr. Hennessy spends his free time with his beautiful wife, daughter, and sons, and tries to sneak in a round of golf here and there.

Dr. Richard is originally from Canada and obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Quebec (UQTR) as valedictorian. She practiced podiatry in Canada for a few years before moving to the USA to pursue her dream of becoming a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon.

Dr. Richard earned her second Doctorate and graduated magna cum laude from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) completing her advanced surgical training at the renowned Atlantic Health System in New Jersey. During her residency training, she served as the Chief Resident for the Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery Program. During this time, she was responsible for supervising and managing her colleagues, gave multiple scientific lectures and was involved in scientific research leading to her co-authoring articles on reconstructive foot surgery. Dr. Richard now works in conjunction with the Morristown Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program as an attending surgeon helping to educate residents and podiatric medical students.

At Denville Foot and Ankle, Dr. Richard has an objective to offer her expertise and provide high quality foot and ankle health for her patients. As Dr. Richard explains,
*“Every patient is different with their own unique needs. My goal is to design an individual treatment plan to help each and every one of my patients achieve the best outcome possible.” *

Currently Dr. Richard holds a certification in foot and ankle arthroscopy as well as being trained at the prestigious Baltimore Limb Deformity Course by world famous orthopedic surgeons in external fixation and limb correction techniques.

Dr. Richard has a passion for sports and likes to volunteer at sporting events which in the past have included the Boston and New York Marathons helping athletes and treating sports injuries. She likes to spend her free time with her husband enjoying hiking and skiing around the world.
