Dr. Hennessy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Orthopedics. He is also an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and he has an additional certification in Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy. He began his education at Auburn University where he received a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Hennessy then obtained his Doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where Allopathic and Podiatric candidates work together as they pursue their degrees. He completed his residency at Atlantic Health System, which encompasses 3 major medical centers, primarily Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Hennessy served as Chief Resident during his training. As such, he was responsible for management of junior residents, lecturing on various educational topics, and moderating surgical skills labs. He still maintains an educational appointment at Morristown Medical Center and holds regular conferences with the residents and their rotating students. Dr. Hennessy founded his current practice, and focuses on making a trip to the doctor a pleasurable experience. He takes a conservative approach to his treatment but has extensive surgical training and employs it as necessary. Dr. H spends his free time with his beautiful wife and daughter and tries to sneak in a round of golf here and there.
